A great experience.  Decided two days before that I was going to do a marathon on my own for a LR.  Started out slow at 7:59(mile 1) and 7:43(mile 2).  After that got warmed up and locked in at 7:02 for the next 18 miles.  Felt really steady.  Started feeling tired around mile 16, but plugged away.  Course was pretty flat with some little rolling hills to it.  Not bad at all.  I thought I was picking it up for mile 21 and 22 but I guess I started slowing down.  I did this run with a watch but never looked at it wanting to focus on strength and pace instincts.  This all went to pot at mile 24.  My right leg literally fell apart and I just cruised in the last little over two miles.  I was defenitely done.  Glad to check this off my bucket list.  I had never run this far and still do not know what I am doing for this distance.  Hope to continue learning and having fun with the improvements.
