Went into to this race with a right leg wounded.  I hoped for the best.  I felt decent in the 2.5 wu but could tell that I was not going to be able to go fast.

Hit mile 1 around 5:35 and then locked into 6-6:15 pace the rest of the way.  At mile 7 I could really start to feel my quad and it was not good.  I decided to back off to 6:25 pace the rest of the way and just maintained.  Never had an issue with tired legs or feeling gassed just did not want to make my injury worse.  II am extremely happy with so many great performances from so many today.  Just was not my day.  Live and Learn...

2.5 CD with a ton of great guys/gal afterwards.  Very cool group and the journey continues...

Not bad for a slow day. Good to see you!

Good job, hope your leg improves.

Wise choice to scale it back today, Spence. Be careful until you are fully healed.

Nice job despite the set back.

Sorry about your bummed leg Spence. Good call at pulling the plug when you did and not making matters worse.

Still a great MP tempo workout in my opinion. Get the leg healed up and keep on keeping on my friend!
