AM:  Easy miles along the DSL from my house.  Very enjoyable morning and run.  I have lived in the basement of this old house for 2 years 4 months now.  Today I move to a new place in Draper but it is mine.  A long time coming.  I am excited for the new change and the new routes I will create by my house.  Should be fun.  MIH

AM:  Nice morning this morning in Park City.  Angela and I stayed at the Waldorf last night to do wedding plans stuff.  Anyways, good out and back up and down McCloed Trail along the main drag.  Felt pretty sluggish today.  Got some miles in though.  Park City is always a fun time.  I could definitely feel the altitude and up/down.

AM:  Easy miles from the new house this morning.  Going to try to do some alternative to the usual routes.  Didn't really like the medium size loop I did this morning.  Too much traffic.  Need to figure some loops out.  But overall it was nice to get out and get the miles in this morning.  Excited to get consistent again.  8:20AP

AM:  Little change of plans today but felt like it was a good consistent week for once.  warmed up 2 miles and then did 2.7 miles at ME with some grad ups and downs.  Felt comfortable doing it progressive.  Breathing was easy which is a good sign.  Did a quick cool down.  Was going to do another 4 more easy but the rain was bad enough to not keep me motivated and I was starting to get cold pretty bad.  Looking forward to next week. MIH

AM:  Not enough sleep last night and could not get my digestive system to cooperate this morning at 4:15am so I could not get ready in time to meet the crew.  Took me 3 hours to finally go to the bathroom and feel ready.

AM 2:  Track Workout

3 mile wu from my house over to Corner Canyon HS.

2 laps with straightaway striders

1X1000 @ 3:55 1/4 mile recovery jog

4X400 @93, 92, 91, 89 1 minute passive recovery

2.1 cd back to my house.

Wish I could have done this workout with someone.  It was good to get some turnover.  I was tight and felt very heavy but overall good workout.  Hopefully this can be a key to guide my fitness back.  Nice head winds here in Draper this morning.

Ogden Half Marathon LR...

Spent the night at the Van Beekum's last night.  Always appreciate their hospitality along with the rest of the Ogden Crew.  Watched Unbroken with Riley, Dave and Ben last night and then hit the sack.  Early morning and not a lot of sleep but we were on our way.  Ben and his friend Allen and I all rode up in a police escort courstey of Ben's Dad.  I stayed in the car til about 10 minutes before start.  Got out and found a secret bathroom and then ran  around a little over a 1/4 mile to the start to just wu if you wanna call it that.

No real plans today except that I wanted to jog the course.  I signed up for the full last september so I had a full bib on and then just did not put my timing chip on.  Race took off and immediately we are running in the rain.  It rained the entire time.  I just decided I would go out really easy and then settle into a pace that was a comfortable jog.  7:40 pace felt comfortable the whole time so I just focused on getting a good run in.  Finished the run in 1:40.

Gotta lot of work to do to lose weight and gain the fitness but today was fun.  Great to see so many fun faces and cool peeps.  Got hpothermia about an hour later.  Had to get wrapped in blankets and foil for about 20 minutes.  Pretty interesting experience.  Don't recommend hypothermia.  Good week again.  MIH

3 mile wu with Matt, Mike and Reed.

2 X 400's w 200 meter recovery jog (91, 87)

cd with Matt for a bit.  Everyone looked solid this morning.  Mike was in beast mode and had plenty in the tank.  Nice to see the crew getting back into form.  Nice deposit for me this morning.  This workout was good turnover and very easy all things considering.  Look forward to more.
